Last week Jenny headed to the BBC Countryfile Live event at Blenheim Palce to promote all things 'beef' and 'British farming'.
Working alongside other Ladies in Beef and Adam Henson she talked to consumers about our farms, the high welfare and food safety standards we work to. A great few days had by all.
The last few weeks have been overwhelming for us at Jenny's Beef. Jenny has generously been awarded a years use of a new Land Rover to help develop the business. The bursary scheme which is run by The Princes Countryside Fund and Land Rover helps 5 young people annually, who are involved in rural businesses and organisations. Further information about the bursary and other rural support offered by The Prince's Countryside Fund can be found at:

Exciting announcment...... Jenny's Beef has secured the tenancy of a local grassland farm, enabling us to continue with the herd expansion and implement future business plans. The traditional Cornish farm has plentiful grazing pasture and ample sheds and yard for the cows enjoyment and welfare.

It's been a busy couple of weeks getting everything sorted for the big move but all cattle are now happily settled in their new surroundings. Looking forward to what the future brings.

Remember to follow us on Facebook and Twitter @JennysBeef for regular news, photos, videos and updates about day to day life on the farm.

I am extremely grateful to all my returning regular customers. Jenny's Beef  Ltd  rears only 'Piemontese ' sired  cattle and we do not buy in cattle from markets or other unkown sources to boost numbers. This, alongside currently retaining all females to join the breeding herd has resulted in low numbers of cattle for slaughter. We look forward to building our herd to enable more consistent supply in the future.
